Master gateway

Mains-powered

A gateway with a colour screen. It forwards data from the nodes to the cloud over Wi-Fi; a SIM card version covers sites without Wi-Fi.

Measures temperature, humidity and air quality. The measurement interval is adjustable from 1 minute to 1 week, and no re-pairing is needed after a battery change.

How it works

  1. Sensor nodes

    Battery-powered nodes send their readings to the gateway over a low-power wireless link. No cabling needed.

  2. Gateway

    The mains-powered gateway forwards data to the cloud over Wi-Fi or a SIM card and shows live status on its colour screen.

  3. Cloud dashboard

    History is exported as Excel and PDF reports. When a value leaves the range you set, alarms go out by email, SMS and voice call.

Built against silent failure

Cheap IoT devices often stop sending data without telling anyone. Every layer of Proport recovers on its own.

  • When a connection drops, the system reconnects on its own.

  • During an internet outage, data is kept on the device and sent without loss once the link returns.

  • Sensor nodes sleep between readings and run for a long time on 2 AAA batteries.

  • Colour-coded status on the screen and LEDs.

  • One-button pairing. No re-pairing after a battery change.

  • Alerts don’t stay on a dashboard: they reach you by email, SMS and voice call.
